i'm from chem eng.. any questions?

yea.. NUBS all hawt gals.. they need to learn how to "socialise" oso ma..

my Chem Eng stil got bunch of gals around.. lalala...

the guy n gal ratio in chem eng is kinda balance u noe, more guy come = more gal come like tis onli in EQUILIBRIUM ma.. (oh gosh, study until sot..)

cannot, gals cannot go mech.. later yr gf ask u change course then no good la.. LOL..

anyway, try not to chit chat in this thread.. last time V1 kena delete a few post cz of chit chatting..

so far nope, no idea and never heard bout anything we can use in the new research building.. mayb it will benefit more to the MEng n PhD students.. who noes?

hard to get wat? get into phram or get into UK? for pharm u will have 2 years at UK.. compulsory..

different ppl hav different type of expenses.. some prefer to spend less, some big spender.. u can giv me <RM500 (rental 200, utility 50+, F&B around 80, petrol 150 i can survive here every month. But for some other ppl, they stay in nice rooms, drive here n there everyday, spend at least rm10 for food per day.. rm500 is just not enuf..

so it is hard tor me to justify the cost of living.. it all depends on u..

all i can help is provide some info bout the average rental price around..

as for UK, if i m not mistaken, they charge per week for rental instead of per month.. but if it is in-campus hostel then different story

FYI, it is not tat hard to get into MPharm, i think u need to go for an interview thou..

i saw filming going on in our campus for few times.. at least 2 + yrs then 3

aw.. first of all, welcome to the big family..

i will answer a few of yr questions, as for how the university is, u will get to noe it in the 1st few weeks of yr studies.. dun worry too much, the uni is getting better day by day..

Accommodation
Basically uni provides on-campus and off-campus hostels.. both with different facilities and price.. each has its pros and cons.. i believe u will receive a list of room (hostels) and rates for each room.. compare it yrself..

Otherwise, u can rent a room or a house with yr frens at the outskirt of the uni or futher.. choices will be TTS (Taman Tasik Semenyih), which is around the uni. u will see alot of houses. A small area. Shuttle bus will be provided in this area..

Further bit will be BSS (Bandar Sunway Semenyih).. rates are cheaper, houses are in better condition than TTS mostly but it is far.. so u need a car or a fren with a car to fetch u. Other option will be Pelangi, new housing area, less students staying there. but tesco is nearby.

Cooking
In on-campus hostels, there is a cooking area in each block/hall if i m not mistaken. Where as off-campus hostel basically is a house, and therefore a kitchen is available, with all the utensils..

Raw materials.. this is harder if u do not hav a car and do not travel back to your home everyday. Ppl like me who travel back to KL every weekend will replenish my food stock every week so no problem for me. If u do not have a car, then the onli option is to take shuttle bus or cab to the semenyih market or to tesco if u wan cleaner environment and do not wish to wake early in the morning.

Transport
Shuttle bus is available from campus > TTS > Sememyih town > Kajang KTM.. but the driver will stop along the road onli.. if u wanna go somewhere inside semenyih, like The Store, then no choice.. u hav to take cab or ask yr fren's help..

deepest condolence to our civil year 2 fren..

the accident happened in front of uni.. at the traffic light..

apparently a gang of students came back from lunch, then speeding quite fast.. the vios is unable to brake for the red light cz the car in front of him stopped so he make a turn and bump to the divider and the car crashed and rolled to the opposite lane..

the passenger passed away and the driver is injured..

2 of them in the car.. others in other car..

btw.. u hav 2 papers left.. i hav 3 leh!!! duh..

jinjack u din get any discount for tuition fees?? if i m not wrong yr result ok wat..

i noe the road is empty and wide, but pls dun speed ya.. esp u r not used to speeding..

well the thing is, the road is not empty.. if it is empty, he can beat the lights and stil be safe.

the reason it happened is cz there is a car stopped in front of him and he is unable to brake in time so he choose to turn but end up ramp over the divider..

no way u can kill yrself speeding out from uni man.. so short distance..
