what they did can't solve the problem. They always blame the signal low. They should check their core network. I get high signal, CINR(20,20) still experience speed slowdown to 0.30 mbps. Impossible to get 1.5mbps.
Conclusion, Amax is hopeless.
Added on November 14, 2009, 6:49 pmwith your usb modem, for sure you can't get connected inside the building. Bring your laptop, try to connect in the open air place. If still can't get connected, throw the usb modem back to Amax HQ at Menara AHP, TDDI.
a technician of mine tested at Sri Petaling with CINR 22 and getting the same damn thing... 0.4Mbps~ CPE isn't out of this problem~
one explanation could be disconnection or fast changing of IP address that causes low bandwidth though I'll have to at least get better to do further tests~ I am putting 19th Nov before asking for an audience with Amax officially to clear this matter and if that doesn't work, I will go to MCMC~ coz the problem started in 19th Oct as far as I can trace back~
