Nothing much to shout about. The name is great but the location and the condition of the shop gives the wrong image. It doesn't look good and I definitely will not go there. Waiting room? Well, there's mamak next door. Go wait there. For those looking for the shop, concentrate on looking for an air con repair shop, that's the name it has on the shop. One member of the forum brought this shop up and I'm always on the hunt to look for car detailing centers. So I went to check it out and I was quite disappointed. I didn't even drive my car in after looking at the shop and so far none can provide the services like that one I go to.

On behalf of Klasse Auto Detailing, we sincerely apologize on the unappealing look that our shop projects to you. Since we've been open for almost a year now come November, we’ve faced our fair amounts of challenge to improve the shop mainly the space of our shops which currently only allows us to concentrate on 2-3 cars at most at a time. Our shop consist of an A/C shop and Detailing shop. Please don’t be miss led.

Location wise I’ll put more work on it to ease locating our shop.Meanwhile, Look for a big DAIKIN signboard for the time being and SJKC Chee Wen & a mamak for landmark.

Silly Quick Question :
2 Days means we have to leave the car there right?
Yes, it will be parked in our shopped and guarded by a staff.

Other questions:
For 1 day, how is the waiting room and services available?
Yes we do, just ask for assistance from our staff so that they know to turn on the A/C for u.But it ain't 5 star =)

(No questions is a stupid question, please feel free to ask)

Warning: Please be informed that the price given above will be changing according to our new price list.
*** It is most advisable to let our staff check the condition of your paint and advise you, then let us know your budget so we can assist you with the best possible services. Ask for a demo beforehand and take your time to decide. We try not only to give you the best result but help you save.

Don’t judge a book by its cover, we might not be the fanciest shop on the block but we make up for our lack of image in the quality of our work. Give us a try is all I ask.
Just a lil heads up, were kinda packed on the weekends.
At the end of the day,If your happy tell your friends….If your not, tell me.

I wont be at the shop as I am currently studying overseas so you guys have to ask me here or email me at klassejoel@gmail.com for assistance.

Kudos!

Perhaps if you can give me a very darn good discount... I don't mind to send over my car for polish and wax. My car is just out from workshop, the condition is.... freaking dirty and scretched.
*
But the best option is always going down to our shop and letting the staff check whats needed to be done, and price it for u. We are still in our promotion rate.
I can quote you for the job u want done smile.gif

PM me for further inquiries.

Thanks for the info, slk... Will check out this place when I find the time... Thanks again! notworthy.gif

From the autoworld forum posts, it seems that this place in Puchong only does interior steam cleaning, they didn't mention anything about engine steam cleaning... sad.gif

We provide engine wash for only RM15
Step:
1)Degrease your engine bay with Meguiar's Degreaser
2)Scrub down before wash
3)And then use Meguiar's Hypercoat to let sit and dry before leaving.

I like the Mercedes Iridium silver paint, and the clearcoat..it really shine although it is lighter colour.
*
Yup, BMW as well and etc use ceramic clear coat. Which is hard and take awhile to be polished.

May I ask what color is your car? And how did you do your polishing job?

The interior protectant which is Meguiar's NXT Tech Protect will be applied to dashboard, door panels, plastic trims etc. There is a saperate charge for leather seat conditioning/cleaning. Actually, that is the cheapest Meguiar's wash with all the steps included in town. They are using the 2 bucket method too!

Everyone is welcome at his place rite Joel?! biggrin.gif

Spot on Joe! Thanks pal!

I drive an old brown Nissan Sunny on the road, which we use for demo and testing of new products. Cars are like our wives, an investment worth every penny, so if you love yours you have to take care of your baby!It all comes down to the condition of your car is in, we will try our best to restore it to the fullest. Doesn't matter if its old or not so old.

The procedures we use for our car wash has its reasons to it, mostly paint care safety =) How you wash your car is important, let us take care of that for you.

For a full leather cleaning & condition we charge RM180, inclusive of door panels, seats, handles, etc etc...( This process takes a long time as we need to clean it with the leather cleaner to make it soft, and then only conditioner it with Meguiar's Leather Conditioner. We use the professional line product, you can request to use any of our consumer products of your liking if you wish smile.gif )

Sorry to say we do not offer leather seat interior protection in our Meguiar’s Signature Wash & Vacuum is sold separately.
If you have your on product you will like us to apply for you during washes, just bring it along and will do it for you. ( Just for our Meguiar’s Signature Wash & Vacuum package)

And is there any landmark there? as i'm using my gps for my directions.
*
Yup silicone protection for every finish car wash, normally we will apply after washes under tire area, ask for it to be applied at the front and back if you wish =)

SRJK Chee Wen, Once you see the school and a small round about, look for a mamak and a big DAIKIN signboard that would be us.

Address : USJ1/6 no30
47300 Subang Mewah,
Selangor

There is also a map at the front to help ease you locating us =)

My s.staff Obet at Klasse, you can reach him at 016-3960991.
His in charge of the shop when I'm away, please feel free to contact him for any info you wish to know.
Best if you can speak with him in bahasa malaysia, his not too fluent in english =)

Heads up again, we are pack on the weekends, so if your coming in for a polishing job its best you make an appointment. Ask for a resit, for collection of your car if your going to leave it there while your gone to help collection of your vehicle later on =)

Normally most modern cars are equipped with Clear Coat. So when ppl talk about paint hardness, they usually refers to the clear coat.

Added on August 24, 2008, 11:31 am

If the clear coat is sanded/polished off, then you are left with a single stage paint  biggrin.gif

Added on August 24, 2008, 11:34 am

May I know what kind of silicone protection are you refering to? Where do you need the silicone protection to be applied?
*
We apply silicone protection for the area above the tires and anywhere else our customer wish to apply.

How much do you think it will cost to detail a current generation 5 series with swirl marks all over the vehicle. The paint is black. Interior and engine detailing will not be required.
*
That would be the Premium Polish and Wax package for RM400. 5 Series if larger than the usual sedan, thus requiring more time to be completed. Sorry for the late replies as I am away on assignments.

Is hypercoat same with Daikin?
*
No bro, Hypercoat is the main distributor for Meguiar's product which is much closer to us, they offer us technical support and product knowledge for us as well. We then use all of those knowledge to be applied in any of our services, being well versed in our services is what we thrive for.

My second visit to Daikin. Overall it's ok. For Rm15, at least they throw in quick detailing for interior using NXT interior cleaning. Wat's more, they even throw in Endurance for tyre and Meg glass cleaner. Most of the place i went like Shinetech only wash using Meg and nothing more. It cost Rm17 there. But when u see they put one pile of concentrate liquid on the washing glove and wipe ur car with water, it look dam rich foam that it make RM17 worth the money. Raydiance uses Meg too but sadly it's snow wash type and they throw in Meg glass cleaner for the price of RM12.

I would say Daikin will be my top list if not because of the timid shampoo meg plus they use. I can see so less foam on my car and it certainly show how little they use and the mixing is kinda like lot of water with little of Meg shampoo plus. Hope they improve there. Futhermore, they advertise in their shop saying using Meg Gold Class Shampoo and conditioner but using Meg Plus.  hmm.gif  Please buck up on the ratio mixing Daikin and i will be ur loyal customer.

Result is ok though they are kinda rough on my interior leaving my tweeter cover to break. Luckly i can jes fix it back. It's a JBL componet mind you. When open door, lots of water dripping out of the door. Not detail enough. Detail the interior of steerling wheel too much. It make it to be oily. Dun forget to wipe off the NXT interior next time for customer on the steerling wheel. Roof, not clean enough. Still can see left over wax i done last week.

Hope u can take it as constructive comment. Oh ya, i saw a SOP (working procedure) in your shop saying 'Only wash when the engine has cool down'
. Jes to let u know that it will take at least 45 minute for an engine to cool down. So if u can't do it, please dun paste it for customer to read. I know it aint pratical to do it so jes take it out. Otherwise it jes look like a joke.

Last but not least, your shop of belakang mali is really incovenient. I need to wait for the gas lorry for mamak store to unload and load empty cylinder before i can drive in that lorong. Very bad enviroment frankly.
*
Hi Adrian,

There are 3 types of Meg's Shampoo
1)Hyperwash Shampoo
2)Shampoo Plus
3)Goldclass Shampoo
4)NXT Shampoo

Our shop use's Shampoo Plus which ratio is lower compared to Hyperwash which tends to foams(suds) more. The cleaning power is on par with the and slightly more lubricity compared to the Gold Class but suds less compared to Hyperwash. This is one of many reasons why I chose Shampoo Plus for my shop, by the way the ratio is 1:128 if I'm not mistaken for Shampoo Plus compared to 1:400 for Hyperwash. If your comparing which on of the above gives more foam, then I would have to say Hyperwash, which also has lesser lubricity. You can request for GC to be used if you wish so.

I will immediately send word back to the office of the interior service done poorly for you and the electrical component you have done for your car.
Please be patient as we will moving to the corner lot as soon as we finish renovating, just got the funds to expand and renovate as much as I am financially allowed. It will be on the same row as the old shop, but at the other of our row of shops. Thus allowing us to have more space and easy access.

If I'm not mistaken, written in my SOP states for the exterior paint of the car to cool down, which is why we wash the put the car in a shaded area and do the interior first to allow the car paint to cool down as much as possible. If written other wise, I apologize for confusing you.

Normally our Meg's Signature Wash is meant to maintain wax protection rather than removing, Meg's pH balanced shampoo doesn't remove wax, thus to remove wax on your roof you would need a paint cleaner to completely remove the wax and preparing the surface before you reapply another layer.

My sincerest apologies, from us at Klasse

I'm a fan of Klasse as well, think Joel will remember me. The fella with the yellow EK, heh.

Joel, I was there last week for a Meg's car wash but they didn't use the 2 bucket method. I had to tell them to prepare a 2nd bucket of clean water.
*
EK9? Gabriel? Sorry bro if wrong! Cant think of any at the moment with all my Mechanical formulas in my head. My dad hired 3 more new staff at the shop, I will look into the matter and stress on the 2 bucket method which is of utmost importance.

If at that moment your not happy with the service please tell the boys to do so, we are at your service.

I will look into the matter as soon as possible.

Thanks for looking out for me bro, we'll meet up later!

Glad to hear your feed back. U said that the mixing ratio is  1:128 but are you sure that your worker follow your order?

Car don't cool down in 10-15 minute bro. In fact car cool down around 45m to an hour. 10-15 minute cool down is nothing and are as well the same with straight away washing it.

Hope that you can improve and I will be back for 3rd visit and will comment here again. Will see if it improve like what you said.

For the waxing part, i dint mean to strip of my wax and of course i doesnt wan your ppl to strip off the wax. Afterall Meg wash are not mean to strip of the wax. (not sure if NXT will). What i mean is there is still whitish residue left over. The reason is i can't reach on top of my roof so i jes slimpy buff off my roof.
*
Hi Adrian,

I will create a new mixing method so that both customer and employee will be at ease knowing the the 1:128 dilution is correct.
Also the paint surface should be cool to do the touch ( you wont feel the like your hand is gonna burn off ), the SOP is meant to be a reminder and a brief checklist for employees that I made before I left for my studies.

About your roof, I suggest you clean/polish it off, or else it will be harder to remove.

Hope your next visit will be a pleasant one.

Peace out!
