Not to say theres no difference, but its just not enough to pay a premium for a full HD panel at a relatively small screen. More over, so many games aren't even native 720p for god's sake.... More upscaling will need to be done on a full HD panel for games.

hi guys. im having a problem with registering the warranty for my PS3. i bought it in malaysia, model number is CECHH06. im aware that its the singapore version. so i went to create an account at asia.playstation.com. i went under malaysia, and after i finished creating my account, i clicked on register warranty. i didnt see the model number matching my ps3, so i created another account under SG instead. everything went fine until an error came up:

hmm.. so there isnt any way that i can register my ps3 unless i ask the shop when they got the ps3 right?

i have read some of the reply here said that, some shop is change the original dual-layer laser of the ps3 to the single layer laser..that y the price is cheap than or they can give many of free gift..

is that true??

looks like i didnt accidently press the PS button. overnight the PS3 turn on by itself again. then the controller all the leds blinking like mad. i think something wrong with my controller. But now it seems to be able to use the PS button.

will try the reset button - i didnt know there is one until now...!!

Kinda slugging it out on Ninja Gaide Sigma, and man the graphics are lovely =D. Im running it on 720i on a 37" only unfortunately, but RM1999 for that LCD TV brand new, im not complaining .

But then, one gripe i have is that when i start a game, the LCD TV changes to no signal for a while, before it changes back to HDMI an dthe game starts. Its like the PS3 system cuts off the graphic while the game start. Its abit annoying because when there is no signal, my TV goes bright blue, so imagine when ur playing in a dark room. Sudden flashbang =.=

Anyone here using PS3 streaming with TVersity? Lately i have been running it fine, and it streams .avi files well, but since i updated to 2.52 today, the playback has been choppy. It stutters randomly

i have the same problems after 2.52. firstly, always seem to DC for no reason and frequent. suddenly, today tversity keep on disconnecting..DLNA error and other stuff.

it used to play movies without problems!

would reinstalling the 2.52 help?   

jus bought my ps3 80gb from sony style....finally...but having some problem here..i couldnt set up my audio...no sound come out..

my setting is ps3 to LCD Tv, then i m using those altec lansing speaker 2.1, connect via AV cable (red + white)..when i run ps3, no sound???!!!but when on tv, AL got sound..
