I dont think PS3 has the ability to install the program for that dongle and use it. You hv to hook it up to ur laptop and set PS3 sever proxy with ur laptop so it uses ur laptop wifi connection as ad-hoc and ur ps3 can access it from there.

yea been getting very very slow loading speeds, 1GB = 24hrs

anyone using streamyx 4MB connection?? care to express your experience with it?? hope its better...

i got 80GB.... now left only 37GB due to game patches, each game disc u bought stores data on HDD & game demos..... tat aone took half already.... BUT even tho u get the 20GB version, u can always swap it with a 500GB HDD... so no worries.

Hello..... Yes they do provide Firmware Update software in certain games that requires the updates.

I juz bought the PS3 a month ago I believe it was 2.1... than inserted MK vs DC and it asked me to update to 2.5 and tada its updated using the Mk vs DC disc coz there wasnt any downloading.

I dont see any problem, IF the game is old and it has an old firmware it will be ignored... the ps3 wont ask you to go downgrade your firmware lol.

Than SONY released the 2.6 firmware which I downlaod using my PC and update the PS3 via USB. Now my PS3 is using 2.6 and I've installed the NEW Gallery app.

So far its working great, no bricking, no media lost, connection works fine online and what you expect from the PS3.

The only problem you need to be careful is choosing the CORRECT region firmware when you install it into your region coded PS3.

ok... now i got problem.... juz downloaded Need For Speed ProStreet DEMO.

But everytime I quit the game demo the PS3 will hang.. and gives 3 beeps. Than I have to force shut down by pressing the PS3 ON/OFF button coz the controller does not respond when it hangs.

I've done it twice to check if results the same.. and yup it hangs.. ONLY for Need For Speed ProStreet demo.

Everything else is fine... only this demo.

My firmware is the latest 2.6 anyone has this problem?

yup i guess its a faulty demo.. deleted it.

i dont think lens can kaput coz its downloaded demo.

PS3 uses 2.5 Sata HDD similar with Laptops.. you can even use 2.5 SSD too.

About my demo problem, yes I tried playing other Demo games works fine... I guess NFS Demo was faulty... deleted it.. other than that the PS3 works fine.

HDMI - HDMI cable or any other HDMI adaptor etc etc can be found in tesco, carrefore or jusco... very cheap now days. HHmmm about quality... they all perform the same stuff... BS on all the extra stuff they said about losss quality and stuff...
