i just got my ps3 yesterday from nelson at rm1640 but have not try it yet. later today will do. .

btw, how to register for PSN? Let say play online game with 1mb internet connect, share with 3 laptops, will it lag? .. So excited to try my new console. .

guys, how do i play movie, mp3 from my external hdd using ps3? .. ..

eh .. ps3 can play dvd movie or not? sorry, noob question .. .

where to change the resolution setting? i saw 700++ 1080p and 1080i, etc ..

I did not play PS3 for past a few days. Today, once I want to play, I found that the resolution of my ps3 is not as usual. A bit big (low resolution). I chek in display setting, it already checked for everything. I also already reset the resolution by pressing on power button for a few second, still same issue.

I also found that something bintik bintik on my screen. Previously, I am not sure it was there or not because i just got my ps3 and play less than 6 hours.

for your information, I am using Samsung 21.5" monitor. Thank you.

yup i did. Inside it, there is 4 options - 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p. I checked for all of them but I believe, my PS3 shows 720i instead of 1080p even the status there showing 1080p. I see the icon on the cross menu is bigger if compared to last time i play. ..

i think it supports 1080p .. the max is 1900 x 1600++ .. not sure the exact value .. yes .. i am using hdmi-dvi connector ..

where to know is there any new update/patch for certain game?

how to watch photo/music/video from ps3 by using external drive (pen drive)? is there any folder should I create?
