I have a 60GB (Asian) model. My Western Digital 320 GB HDD work fine. What model of your HDD are you using? Mine model is WD 3200BEVT 5400 rpm. It has been used for 6 months now. Maybe is your HDD faulty. Try exhange for a new one and try it again (if it can be exchange). When you plug in the new HDD, a message will pop-up and ask you to format your HDD. If you don't see this message maybe something wrong with the HDD, guess is just my opinion. Also, not all SATA HDD is compatible. Hope this help. smile.gif smile.gif

Yes, mine also is 60GB batch Hong Kong set. Hmm... strange. If your HDD same model with me then guess it should work. So far so good for mine. Nothing happen which you have mention. Maybe manufacture problem on Western Digital side. Guess you have to use that HDD for your laptop, pc or external drive and change to other brands if the HDD keep on giving you problem. Just my 2 cents! sad.gif sad.gif
