Not sure never tried before. If you want something stronger than Impact then go for CHT series.

No. Its better.

If you want a Velo, avoid Impacts, aim higher.

I was thinking about this point too, avoiding the 'entry level' range.
In terms of tech specs, Klipsch looks like a better bet.

htkaki has been giving excellent advise on Klipsch sub, I just needed some 2nd opinion.

Try listen yourself la, even entry level but branded subs are substantially costly, better make the right decision. But back to PSBs, try Subseries 5 and above.

Hello, newbie here. Currently hunting for HT set...
Went to A&L for some PSB auditioning. Our host is most hospitable.

Tried Celine Dion concert with T5 + C5 + B4 with Pioneer 1019...
Great experience. Natural sound and good staging with wide sweet spot.

Then tried transformers, excellent details... but not enough boom boom...
(I know this is a woofer issue... tongue.gif)

Those B4 left a very lasting impression. Wonderful little buggers.
Now deciding between PSB and KEF...
If I do take PSB, should I use B5 as rear and go for full set 133mm drivers, or stick with the smaller B4?
B5 vs B4 as rear, will it make a lot of difference, when paired with T5 and C5?

As for woofer... I think I'll most probably get a SVS PSB-12 NSD...
