2. Yamaha 663 avr + Wharfy Diamond 9.6 tower + Wharfy Diamond 9.CS centre -> 3.0 system around 5.2k
3. Yamaha 663 avr + PSB Alpha T1 tower + Velodyne CHT-R12 -> 2.1 system around 5.6k

my budget around 5k only so plan to get a 3.0 or 2.1 system 1st..
which system stated above is more recommended??

Just confirm with desa people if you planning to purchase so called 0% then is no longer 3299. You have to add another 3-4% and then divide 12 month . The total price become 3300 +132 (Base on 4%) = RM3432. Can anyone advice me whether is it a good buy, oh yeah forget to mention cable not included. Meaning you have to spend another 50-100 for normal speaker cable. Please advice.

It is the improvement series. T, C and B was supposely obsolete.

Why dont you go to any A&L outlet to get some quotation for a 5.1 HT package? I know that if you top up ur budget to 6K, you can get:
1. Yamaha 663
2. PCB T1, B1 & C1
3. Velodyne CHT-10R

For my package, the price is quite attractive , cos I bought it during the last Audio Show recently. Also that they included RCA cables and AQ cables (inclusive a AQ HDMI Cable) for all speakers FOC in the package. Best thing is their top notch service. I was so happy with their service from sales inquiry to installation process.

I satisfied with PSB speakers and tested with the following setup:

Front speaker - Image B25
Surround - Alpha B1
Center - Image C40
AVR - Yamaha v663
Sub - Velodyne CHT-10R

What would be roughly estimated price for all this in the market right now ?? I've got a quotation from an unknown shop but it seems unreasonable though...

i went to A&L too around 4pm..
Tested the Image T45, very nice speaker with reasonable price..

I think so far PSB has the cheapest 5.1 system speakers compare to other branded... Alpha LR1/CLR1
Recommended for new starter for non japanese speakers....

If you could stretch ur budget a little bit more, you should opt for T55. I have tested both T45 and T55..and i personally think it's worth topping a few hundreds to get the T55. They are good speakers. You'll get deeper bass and better sound staging compared to T45. you might want to test them out

yeah.... T55 looks cool.. yet to test the sound however i am looking into slimmer speaker who does not give the feel of bulkiness.. thats why i choose T45... anyway i will test it out as well... thanks for the feedback.. cheers bro
