okey i am noob in ocing the cpu.after i browse through some thread i got one simple guideline to oc with simplest way..but my question now is first we need to reduce the HTT frequency from 5x to about 3x to ensure that our HTT link never above then 1000MHz( if i am not mistaken la..if wrong please correct me sad.gif ) but i already set through bios but after i open the cpuz htt link still around 1000MHz..it should be around 600mhz (because my fsb is 200MHz) or it does not state at cpuz ... so sifo out there i hope u can help me k.. my system requirement

AMDx2 5000 (Brisbane)
ocz value ram (667) 2x 1 Gb( timing 5-5-5-15-21)
GA-M55SLI-S4(mobo)

i don't know what else to check except BIOS version.
(i'm not telling you to update or flash whatever BIOS, just check only)

ermm thank bro..i also feel like that because rite now i am using origin bios (F8)..huhuhuhu but the latest one is F (11)..maybe the lack of bios might cause this problem ka bro??

try to update to the latest bios...
there is certain risk to update bios,a mistake can cause your system dead...
so do it at your own risk...

so did u mean if we update our bios incorrectly,the mobo will rosak? or we still can use it by reset cmos?

your system wont boot up and you need to send it back for RMA...but if your mobo got crash free bios then you can fix it yourself,read your mobo's manual for it...
reset cmos can only reset the bios data to default...this is to be done when your overclock is failed...
