One serious missing feature in NFS games are 'human contact'... imagine one of the races you are to chase a bad guy who is running on foot miles away... the map shows the location... you race there, you see him and then.... BANG ! You hit em... slow-mo of him being hit and flying in the air occurs...

Or... during free roam, there are pedestrians. The ability to 'hit' them - non-violent, they don't die. It will still be a 'T' rated game.

Can not always trust critics ma, last time prostreet also got quite low score, but it's quite enjoyable to me also. This undercover is like most wanted v2, so if you like most wanted, you probably like this.

In my humble opinion, the game isn't all that great. Graphics has framerate issues (big problem) during races making it all look very choppy and stuttering. You don't get the sense of speed at all. Controls are sluggish.

Only plus for me is that the sound/audio is well done esp during races can feel the surround, cutscenes (video clips with real actors) are nice and Maggi Mee Q is, well, very delicious.

Suggest you try it out before buying.

Playability is important and if the framerates affect that, then this game is doh.gif

Maybe I will wait for bro Blacktrix to appear on Trade Zone. tongue.gif

NFS Undercover - - Game trailers rated it 6.7, Users rated it 8.8

Haven't played it yet... but...

Why NFS Undercover would knock your socks off regardless of what critics rate it

1. It has got cops. You get to get chased. That's Awesome.
2. The car control. It is WAY easier than NFS Pro Street, from the videos.
3. Damage effect is back, but there won't be "Light Damage" "Heavy Damage" nonsense
4. Maggie Q is in it... expect top class Hollywood cutscenes unlike anything you've ever seen in any NFS games
5. Free roam... come on. Fans wanted it and they got it.

Let's see. I might be damn right or dead wrong.

BTW, NFS Undercover has the longest development time of any NFS game to date.

well, for me i've always been a NFS fan as i love racing... but i didnt enjoy ProStreet as it didnt hav cops~

i played it last night, and IMHO... i wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif it!!!.

yes, the controls are a bit problematic but 2 b honest, i dont find the occasional frame-rate drops a bother for me~

the races are good, the types of cars available are excellent, however the new menu navigation can be a bit confusing at first. also, i cant seem to find where i can change my name tongue.gif im still called "player"~ blink.gif the cops AI is rather good i must admit as this time they tend 2 b better @ blocking you or ramming you off the road.

graphics (not while racing) are very very nice~ i love the lightings and the shadows!

for me, unless you're a real racer fan at heart and enjoy the thrill of evading cops, then get it. but if you're a casual racer, then i dont think you'll enjoy it.
