U should read the iphone for dummies lor.. very informative thread for me and u tooo.. here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/830708 look at number 8 8. Disable EDGE and 3G connections. a) Jailbreak phones use BossPrefs to toggle on/off connections. b) Non Jailbreak phones, please enter e.g "nothing","DISABLE", "yourname" in your APN ( Settings, Network, Cellular Data Network, APN) to disable EDGE while 3G connection can be turn off via 3G iPhone settings. bro, the "E", "o" or "3G" signal will show up even u turn them off in bosspref..
it show coverage for ur area.. |
