By removing all those information listed ealier, maybe not a very a wise idea. I understand that many newbies here may not read before posting, but for your information there's other group of newbies / noobs needs that information. How many members in LYN so far, 100,000 member ? In my opinion maybe a very small percentage that are very active in their favorite forums thread. So, from 100K members that shows big quantity but maybe only 5% of that figures happy to be here.

Let say 5% of that big figure, 1% need that information that you've removed so pity to them. Sometimes we need to understands that not everybody really smart like we are. So its our duty to help them even only 1% of total 100K member in the forum need that information. Its not only happen in this forum, but its happen in other forums as well. Newbie comes and go but there's newbie stay here long enough to become "sifu" one day. Remember not everybody can become sifu.

Anyway its your choice and your rights to remove the information even there's small percentages of forumers still need it.

Its just my 2 cents.

Pardon for my comments.
p/s : For example i'm using Mac computer since 1999, not very long and my knowledge just so-so only. What i can say when people talk about Apple computer the most popular is, "Haiya ! Apple mac very expensive la..", "Very difficult to use Mac Os laaa." and many more, but there's also people very interested to use or buy Apple Mac but don't know where to start. So its my duty even i didn't get anything if i teach them, but i'm happy later if one of them become Apple user and at the same time i got a new friend that can chat about Apple products.

I maybe talk to many people about Mac, but if only one person become a new user of what you also interested, its good already...Hmm ! maybe sometimes we get boring explain the same thing, furthermore most of them don't know or don't want to use mr "Google" but like i said not everybody are like us.......

Well, now everyone has to find their own answers. Not that dificult anyway to find infos.  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

As you have mentioned, they r not smart. Well, what can we do. One word to discribe them..dopeys.

I'm glad friends did what he feels important as he wants noobs/everyone to cultivate a good habit of searching for answers by themselves which is more rewarding in itself.

Cheers

true @davidgary73

i agree that this is one of many site to find answers..... but as usual... some of dumbhead that come here and just want to be spoonfed and they didnt even bother to seach first then ask....

u guys have a choice to help or not...... tht no one can force u guys.... its up to u to make it happen or make it stop from happening...

there will be noobs and always will... its the matter how u handle them

this is a conflict of interest....

like hamlet from shakespears said...."to be... or not to be... tht is a question" (more like an answer to me...)

my 2 1/2 cent
