Want to buy new gc but have difficulties to choose between these two.

Gainward have higher clock but HIS must be able to overclock further rite?

Can anyone provide benchmark, idle temp, full load temp, etc.

Plz your help really needed. tQ

The Gainward one has a 0.8ns memory(IIRC), so it would overclock(probably) better than the HIS one(not very sure though).

They both have a 3rd party cooler though. Though, I haven't seen any benchmarks.

HIS iceQ4850 not even in malaysia yet maybe around 20/8 gonna arrive here

and Gainward GS just enter malaysian market last friday

currently using a HIS x1950 pro with its so called iceq3 turbo blah2.. really problematic .. noisy... and also damnn hot.

Maybe they can handle the temp better coz they've higher clock.

It's up to you if you feel that you need more juice or extra a few frames then clock it up

gainward got provide software 2 oc. but need to have more fans 2 cool the gc oh.. or not sure fried =.=!!!!

lol more fans google up for some review on 4850 golden sample's temp I'm sure you'll have your answer whether will it fry

2 also using 0.8ns chip.. buy HIS 4850 iceq4 cooler is hot and noisy than gainward 4850GS.. HIS 4850 just the name and the gc beautiful than gainward only.. but we gamers choose is the performance of the gc....

gainward golden sample for sure... factory oc'ed with same price.. btw, the cooler is extremely great, idle 40 or 30 sumthing with 6% (YES, 6%) fan speed..

Hmm.. most of them are really old-time seller aldy so should hv no prob dealing with the sellers.
Some of them even own a shop & provide COD or self-collect for sure.

buying from these sellers should be quite safe
got my 4850 gs from lehteck, no problem at all
but if you're scared can ask for cod

Most sellers here are fine la. Look at their trade lists and how long they've been here. Worst come to worst, COD if it makes you feel more secure

This one OC version aso.

I saw this MSI GC before and I can say that the heat sink is much smaller then I expected but the fan is bigger. I would prefer Gainward 4850GS.

How much power does this thing need?i mean the PSU..i only have 420W cap ayam PSU now using old 7600GT now.. and recommend me one PSU please which is lower than RM250 but it's good
