I am using official unlock from Singapore. Subscribe Digi Data unlimited plan. No issue on EDGE.. But, got i problem for caller ID.. Eg.. All my contact phone storing format as 0121234567. when there is incoming call. The Name is display properly. But for incoming SMS, it will display as +60121234567 instead of contact Name. If i would change the contact phone storing format to +60121234567, then incoming call display as 0121234567 but SMS display correctly with name...

Do u know that iphone3G comes with 1 years phone support. Just call Apple toll free Malaysia. Ask them to pass to iphone support team. That is all, after few days support from the team. They finally conclude that, the problem is due to the iphone is use under a non supported country that causes the problem..

For the time being, he advices me to add 2 same phone number format in 1 contact.. So stupid..

GPS direction is able to track your location, & when u r in a moving vehicle. U can see a blue dot is moving turn-by-turn as our vehicle move. BUT, google map is not support in Malaysia for plotting out the direction from Point A to point B.. Means, the GPS is useless in iphone in Malaysia..

Here is how u can test out.. Go to http://maps.google.com/

1.Select "Set default location" to Malaysia
Then use the "get direction" to enter from A to B
You will get the same result as display in your iphone "the driving location cannot be found"

2. Now, change your location to Singapore
Then use "get direction" From Singapore to Singapore
You will find the driving location..

So, apple is to be blame. They are so silly...
So GPS for iphone3G is useless..
