Will also consider if you're looking for ppl to share whole unit, as long as everyone is agreeable to the lease contract.
Thanks

Hi guys,
Need some help here. Sorry, I know this topic has been discussed a few months ago, but I'd like to get your opinions on my situation. Gonna apply for Sg PR, filled in the form aldy and passed it to the HR of my co. to fill in the last part. HR told me tat this has to be discussed among the management coz I'm under 1 yr contract and they have to see if 'they will allow me to apply for PR' (well, not their exact words, but something to this effect. I think they're trying to save their money, coz my co. seem to prefer to take in foreigners rather than locals/PRs). Anyway, supposing they turn out to be really difficult and refuse to fill in the employer information for me, what should my next course of action be? If they really did that, I think it's very unfair of them, coz one of my colleagues from China, he's also under 1 yr contract and they just filled out the details for his application 2 weeks ago. Dunno if the whole process was difficult for him on his part....maybe he argued back with them on this, i dunno. Can I still go ahead with my application even if they don't wanna fill in that section for me? I've a Master's degree and been working here in sg for 1 yr. What are my chances if i just proceed without that section being filled in? I've got another 4 more months til my contract ends. Tell you, the boss of this co. super kiasu and chinaman. Even the china ppl can't stand him! Made my e-appointment for 1st week April btw. All documents covered aldy except this. Oh, that and my recent passport photo. Thanks a lot....appreciate all the help i can get! |

Thanks for all the comment guys! Really appreciate it. Hope my application turns out well, and sure I won't be changing employers til my pr is approved.
Added on March 3, 2009, 11:44 am QUOTE(hkhk @ Mar 2 2009, 01:36 PM) In fact my company never fill in that part for their employer who apply for PR. So I just fill in the info myself and wrote a formal letter on the spot and submit to the officer.. When you said you filled out yourself, means you only fill in the sections that you know right? I mean like the total profit and all that...we can leave that blank right? And attach a formal letter together with it also, of course. Thanks This post has been edited by wallaboo: Mar 3 2009, 11:44 AM |
