Why not? Lots of Singaporeans earn between 2-3K their entire lives. They seem to manage.
Thank you. I was asking because I am not aware of the living standards in Singapore.

please offer me your breakdown of expenses (e.g., food, accommodation and etc)
Rental: $1200, taxis $800 (or car instalment/expenses $1500), meals $900... break your budget already... but if you don't like sharing toilet and don't like buses & trains... what to do...
WOW...!! Your budget is already a killer. With that, I do not think I can survive there.

again these ppl r plain blind or lz or both
the 1st post by ts dun even need to look already stated all the info from accomodation to transport to how to find accomodation n cpf n tax info
so sumtime really

I do apologise. I was offered, got kinda panicky, and with the lack of knowledge of things in Singapore, I needed to see the costs already. I did realise that the first post by the TS did say something about those things. Also, I wanted to gauge whatever comments or responses from any forumers here.

IMO, NEVER go through recruitment agency to get a job. In my Ex company i got a singaporean colleague who join in and work like hell. He want to leave but cannot because in the contract with recruitment agency if he leave within 3 months he need to compensate money. depends on what job u get, 2750 can have pretty enjoyable life if u no need to feed family and loan (cars, house etc).
my basic expenses in singapore:
income: sgd2000
room rental: sgd400 (including fees and internet)
transportation: sgd100-150 (i rarely take taxi, MRT to work and bus if i'm lazy to walk to MRT).
food: sgd500-700 (weekend usually have some better meal than usual)
random expenses: sgd200 (buy clothes, toys, and other daily stuff)
total: sgd1200 (min)/ sgd1450
leftover: sgd800(max) / sgd550(min)
if dont simply buy things...actually can save quite a lot. i dont go clubbing etc so most of my expenses are on food...which need to control...the amount there is pretty scary liao...

change money? compare to JB, i would love to change in SG instead. the price is usually RM10-20 higher than JB (change base on sgd100).
I think your case exemplifies that everything should be kept to the absolute necessary. And I do appreciate your breakdown of expenses. Thank you.
