Look good to me...but you have to consider other things esp. your direct boss....Angels or Demons.....I know people who drag their feet to work everyday because they have demons boss. Pay is good but very demoralise
Well, during the interview, my interviewer, who is also a managing director aka my boss looks very down to earth to me... For that whole 2hrs+ interview

, he makes sure that I understand my job scope and duties. For the last 30mins, he showed me the entire office and briefly introduce the staffs.
No matter how humble he is during the interview, he still the BIG BIG boss, and I'll can only find out his true characteristic once I start work.

Diggnation,
I think you should not be comparing too much in terms of salary instead you should be focusing on the scope of areas that you will be exposed to. If you think you deserve more, by all means you can still negotiate or wait for another opportunity. With times like this, best not to be too choosy unless you can wait. Trust me, ppl survive on S$2k a month with savings in Singapore so I dun think you cant.

Agree with Chess_Gal.
Don't be too choosy at the moment as the economy is still not that good. Take the job first and only decide whether the job suits you
Thanks all for your kind words. ya, what you guys said are right! I should not be comparing my salary with my singaporean friends who are also in the same industry. Come to think of it, it's better this way as I dont want to create jealousy among my few singaporeans friends.
By the way, I was really surprised that average rental for a HDB with 3 rooms costs $2k per month. That's why I was questioning whether my salary is on the low side. My younger brother who just got a pre-employment offer letter with a civil engineering company upon graduating, also get $2.8K per month!!!!

But he's a NUS student. So maybe he is entitled for higher pay...
