That sucks man. But hey, that's life. That's why I don't care how much it costs, and rent a whole flat anyway. I spend probably triple what I should be spending on lodging, but I also never have to deal with stuff like that.

So do you let out the rooms in your flat to other people?

FYI,  I don't know about Malaysians, for Singaporeans, we are not allowed to bring in any such items (duty free) as it is consider something non-international because its Malaysia.  Better ask before doing so.

What I think is : IF we arrive Singapore by air, there is no different whether the plane come from Malaysia or Indonesia or other Country. All are International mah.  All will pass thru the same airport (either T1, T2, T3 or budget airport). There is a Duty Free Shop (DFS). So suppose you can buy Duty free staff there. However The Casher will need your passport number and they will know which plane u took..

To be safe.. Don bring from Malaysia, buy from the DFS and see whether they allow you to buy . Then next time you can bring from Malaysia if the Absolut Vodka is not available in the DFS lo.

Hi guys.. thanks for the advices.

I managed to bring back a bottle of Absolut Vodka biggrin.gif
I checked in my luggage.. flew by Air Asia btw.. took my luggage, keep a straight face and walked thru the 'green lane' which is for 'no items to declare' lane.. *phew*

As for buying from DFS in the airport, for international flights, we can buy 1 litre of alcohol and a box of ciggies (ciggies is for other airports la.. i am not sure whether Spore airport sells them tongue.gif i don't smoke tongue.gif)

Thanks again for all the feedback smile.gif

Actually is quite fast to get the pass approved, I submitted last friday and i got it today!
my new company request me to report on 16th march, I just tendered letter yesterday and I expect to leave by end of this month for some preparation, so have to pay the compensation to them..

Should have negotiated with the new company.. whether they can pay partial since they know you have to serve a notice period...
