Hi IlovePRL,

The classes at Crush/Escobar BJJ average about 18-20 students a class. Having said that, I'm wondering why you would think that having 1 instructor would hinder you from learning anything? If you drop by and watch a class, you would notice that the class is structured in such a way that it does not matter. Furthermore, we have plenty of more senior students who are always willing to help out and teach any newcomers. Our classes are taught by Escobar himself, a 3rd degree IBJJF black belt.

Please feel free to drop by during class on Tuesday and Thursday at 9pm. We also have a open mat sessions(free practice) on Saturdays at 6.30pm. Look forward to seeing you there. Cheers!

Hi guys,

Anyone looking to learn Brazilian Jiujitsu, but price has always been a stumbling block? Now you have a chance to learn from the only BJJ Black Belt in Malaysia, from the world renowned Team Checkmat, Prof Marcos Escobar.

Why is it important to learn from an experienced instructor, even if you're a white belt? An experienced instructor such as Marcos will be able to not only show you specific techniques, but little nuances that will help you make the move work, developing proper technique along the way. As they say, learning is a process that is twice as long, as it takes just as much time to unlearn bad habits as it does to learn something new. So why develop bad habits in the first place?

MEBJJ Academy is offering a waiver on the registration fee and a significant discount on the first month's fees to learn BJJ. Click on the link below to find out more!

Blackfinn,

I think you are not very clear on what BJJ is. Its not an oriental martial art, far from it. Its BRAZILIAN Jitjitsu, one of the core pillars of MMA, which you profess to be interested in. If there is no BJJ(ground game), there is no MMA, period. We have many students from the Jalan Klang Lama area train with us, if you wanna know more look up the art at:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_Jiu-Jitsu

Look up our gym at:

www.escobarbjj.com

Thanks!
