You're most definitely going to get flamed for asking something like that ! You should go through the other discussion topic [this question has been asked in the past TOO MANY times!] before posting a question.

You should also be able to get ur answer if U spent some time googling.

PS: AFAIK there's not been a successful unlocking method for the iPhone 3G.

The answer to your question is NO on software method, since software unlocks are not available yet.

YES on hardware method(called Sim-duping, on HyperSim/TurboSIM), but there are anomalities. Things like having to tap call buttons TWICE to make a single call, since first attempt results in "Call Failed", 3G data not working properly, and the possibility of your carrier (Celcom/Maxis/DiGi) finding out that you have duped their sim card, and they can ban you from using their service, since you have violated the TOS. Which is why the folks here are more interested in software unlocks since it avoids complications such as this.

I suggest that if you do sell this, and selling it NOW, plut these bullet points inside your sales thread. The least you can do is keep your potential customers know about what they are getting into if they still decide to go the hardware unlock route.
