I see. Cause I bought the kit in Australia (currently studying) for about $65 which is around RM154+-.
So if I want to get kits, it's better I wait till I fly back to Malaysia to buy or should I buy from HLJ. Are they cheaper?
Hi another fella in Melbourne...

Which part are you in, and where do you get your kits?
It's better to fly back to M'sia to get them... buying online is definitely cheaper than getting them in Aussie shops, yet if you add up the shipping costs it's still a bit overpriced compared to M'sia. But it's better than nothing if you're desperate for kits, I'll say fight the urge and save up until you get back though.

My local shop restock 1/100 Astray Gold Frame Amatsu for this month. Around 3 or 4 boxes. Is this one worth your money? I means about the part's quality, the joint.... If OOB, is this kit have enough color? Cause the gold coating make me don't want to paint it. I hear there's some complains about the wings make its hard to stand. And the last reason is my place sell it with a high price - 860k VND, about 50 USD

.
Amatsu... I don't have that kit, but from my experience with the 2ndL Blue Frame and the opinion from my friend who has the gold frame, keep away from this kit unless you really love it to bits.
1. The backpack. It's too big and heavy for the kit. Astrays have quite a lot of joints to provide the near MG articulation, but they are nowhere as sturdy as MG joints. The weight of the backpack tends to pull the mecha towards the rear end, hence adding more stress on the torso joint which allows forward and backward motion; and the weak ankle joints. You could get an action base to support it though.
2. The bling. Because of the bling, the price of this kit is quite high for a 1/100... You could easily get a SEED MG such as the Strike or Freedom which have better proportions and articulations. And you get the kickass catapult for the Strike

3. The neck joint is fixed and doesn't allow any articulation. The large horny, pointy parts around the head may possibly hinder some head movement as well. I'm not sure about the tightness of the head parts of the Amatsu, but the 2ndL's cheeks tend to drop out fairly easily.
Hope it helps.
