i manage to push the FSB to 400mhz....
so my speed is 3.2ghz now...

but..
when running intel linpack...
i dun get the same value for each cycle...
so it seems my settings not stable rite?

now what shud i do to make it stable or to go higher?
i m targetting 3.8 at least...

the thing about quads is... its quite hard once u get around the 420~450Mhz region to overclock(from what my friends told me)... which means u would have to play with your NBridge and your Vcore alot.

also, more core contribute to more heat. heat is no good for high clockspeed.

Sometimes is not the ppl sux laugh.gif
Some hardware can't oc well also. Just do those step by step adding fsb and vcore to find the highest clock speed. Don't forget about the heat also...

You can try to push more by adding vcore and vdimm if u overclock ur ram together.

I'm surprised a moderator didn't come in and say:

Please refer to the pinned threads or the existing threads on how to properly overclock.
