who cares, but do take note that not all games need installation, and sides, it increases the lifespan of the Blu ray drive, you dont need to constantly read it to play, so less damage on the lense.

unlike the Xbox, constant reading also results in heat producing from the drive itself and combine with bad air circulation it causes the console to overheat.

IMHO, this thread is useless, since there are instructions in the game that explain the reason for installation in PS3. Dunno why others like to flame these two consoles, i think these flamers dont even own any of these consoles to really feel or experience what these console have to offer hence jelousy kicks in and they started to flame console owners.

I myself owned a Ps3 and my younger brother owned a Xbox 360, played both, and frankly these two consoles have pros and cons, but it is more serious towards Xbox(3ROD SH**).

anyway, stop jelousy, just play the game...

ooohhhh....scary.......well sorry for ur misunderstanding, if you are curious, just google it? well i dont intend to start a flame war, but the way you posted ur topic here are not suitable, since there will be Xbox users trying to talk crap bout PS3, why not go to Playstation section instead? thats why i said this topic is useless, it intends to provoke flame wars...

PS: please make sure you ask a PS3 OWNER IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PS3, why bother asking anyone who does not own a PS3, the result is, they'll talk crap about the PS3....cause they never used it....

Frankly, im not bother with the installation thingy, since the installation are less troublesome compared to PC's


early batch of PS3 does not need installation?? R U KIDDING ME???? try to explain why i have to install MGS4 but not ferrari challenge?? so my PS3 is an early batch or latest one??? how bout ur ps3, is it an early batch???? so dont need to install games?
