Games I am bored with NDS, recommend me a good turnbased game

I am bored with all these new NDS games coming out. Mostly not my cup of tea.
I like games like zelda phantom hourglass because it doesn't have too much talking and talking and talking that you can't skip.
I like games like age of empire, advance wars, because my fav is still turn-based strategy games.
I hate games like AW: days of ruins cause it's simplified gameplay spoils the AW franchise.
I hate games like FF tactics because they drag the game longer with all the dialogs and simplistic beginning gameplay.
Anyone can recommend some good turn based games?

Castlevania laa..pure action all the way...with little rpg elements. Other turn based games...FF4, FF3. U're not asking about SRPG rite?

U will rarely die in the game bcos the difficulty is not that punishing. That is based on the normal mode of course. if hard mode i am not sure.
