between, which of this two halls in gsc pavillion is bigger ? the hall number 7 or 12 ? planning to watch this saturday at pavillion between 1pm - 3 pm. thanks

not sure. you want bigger screen go to gsc maxx times square lah. RM15 really worth it.

i told my friend to decide either we watch at klcc or pavillion so he picked pavillion.
nevermind, ill go to pavillion on thursday or maybe friday to buy the tickets for saturday at the counter and also ask about the halls for 7 and 12.

For whatever reason, the Justice League TV cartoon used the John Stewart (black guy) version of Green Lantern. But the original has always been Hal Jordan (white guy).

After watching the 2nd trailer in 3D on my Nintendo 3DS, I have to admit, i'm scared if that was how the 3D feels. Not enough depth to justify a good 3D movie.

i heard this movie 3d is post production only. so better watch normal 2d version instead of wasting money on 3d.

DC not Marvel

Over here we only have analogue projection in cinema, all digital projection already given to 3D screening slots. Unless some time GSC Mid Valley give out some slot for 2D.

The entire "blue" screen scenes like on the planet Oa should be ok in 3D

Green Lantern (2011)

In a nutshell... a little disappointing.

The main culprit, storyline and character development.

Why the heck hire powerhouses like Peter Sarsgaard, Angela Bassett and Tim Robbins and DO absolutely NOTHING with them....

What they got right are

1) The costume (I know I know, many do NOT like and I have to add, it kinda work)
2) Green Lantern flight. They have made Superman and countless oter superheroes fly before. What is different. Green Lantern has a "Style" of flight (almost ballet, the best way I can describe) and they managed that
3) Making Green Lantern during flight, look really. In the last Superman movie, almost everytime Superman flew, he look CGI....
4) Planet Oa
5) The Green Lantern Corp
6) Sinestro

What they got wrong

1) There is ABSOLUTELY NOT chemistry between Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold. Who would have THUNK!!!! They are both attractive people... Blake Lively reminds me of a much younger Lara Flynn Boyle, with a dash more weight!! She just never got into the role...
2) After a great 1st act, the 2nd and 3rd act went steadily downhill...

There is also an anomaly in the movie....



If you decide to only one superhero movie this year, I actually recommend X-Men First Class rather then this... Shame, I LOVE DC Heroes... I really do...

Funny that I like MARVEL heroes ... but prefer GL more than X-Men...

maybe the more you know/invested in the characters in the comics, the more particular you are on how they portray it in the movies.
