just some advice to all the newbies that going to post question/discussion here, please make sure your topic is new and never been post, or else you will on fire. Take my case, just post two short line of question and in return getting 4 pages of negative comment within a day and still growing......... share with you some of the comments

they said:

1) no time to answer the repeat questions- but they have time to bombak and give negative comment up to 4 pages within a day and still growing

2) Do not buy iphone until you fully known it - why dont suggest to apple to have a test/exam first before you buy

3) some will want exchane with you since you are not fit/deserve to it - and they are agree that a BMW 5 series owner should exchange with MYvi if they are not familiar with the car ( what a joke, why dont they go to the street and start this campaign , BMW exchange myvi campaign )

4) this sub-forum has been change to kaunter pertanyaan - so here is only a discussion forum within limited members which think they are the most fit/deserve to have the phone....

5) some will make jokes on you - this is what a shame, they try to make you the laughtstock but the end they seem the one.........

6) they dont welcome anyone who expect spoon feeding - so all of them are brilliant and never ask question or else will be spoon feeding also.

7) this a their ways to treat anyone who make mistake here, so they can grow this forum- at the end, here will become personal playground.

before you post , you also need to explain why you buy, how you buy, where to buy etc

i think this tread/advice should not getting any negative or bombak again, since this advice is totally NEW and NEVER post by anybody..... SO, i am eligible to post this..... cheers

Btw, if you really facing some problem, try go to www.discuss.com.hk. You may post repest question and they may choose not answer you but refer you to some topics.... much better than here.....
you may feel HK people are more friendly............

even you realise your mistake and close the question and say sorry within hour, they will still going to give you a treats,.......they wont just let you go......and

i m a noob to iphone too and i think i have reposted questions which was posted/repeated from the past but i do get fair answers from the forumers in here and no negative comments so far.

But its always good to google it before asking in forums, doubts and answers might just pop up.

Duxz is what we call a self-reliant newbie. He does his homework, and only ask questions that pertaining issues that have not been answered in the forum, or that huge iPhone Club Version 7 Thread, or the WinPwn thread.

You however, rely solely on feeding from people without even bothering to look things up before you open your mouth, either asking or before the spoonfeeding ceremony itself. LYN is an info-sharing community, and that sharing thing, is a TWO way street, not just ONE way. What good are a member, if he does not contribute to the community he joins in if all he does is open his beak and ask being fed like a day old chick to its mother bird?

Enjoy your thread while it lasts, this thread have been reported. icon_rolleyes.gif

1) u just need to search b4 asking. is that hard?
2) well, yeah. others doing research before buying a phone. you cant do that too?
3) we label that type of owner as cheapskates. and you terasa about it?
4) well.. nearly since you made 2 episodes of questions when you can get those answer by simple search.
5) sarcasm is a good way sometimes. laughter is the best medicine
6) spoonfeeding is too pampered. you are just lucky bcoz we didnt refer you the "RTFM"
7) personal playground? nah... personal shooting ground on those lazy ones.

the rest ... i think i leave it to others...

The main issue here is responsibility. The TS dont feel responsible towards his iPhone 3G because "it was a gift to him". When you are given something with so much power, that power comes with responsibility as well. And you TS exercise very little of it. You dont feel compelled to look around for answers to your questions here first, or in obvious places like Apple's own webpage, and its online User Guide before asking. I believe even the Quick Start Guide that comes with the iPhone 3G even points towards this.

Your first thread was about these:-

QUOTE
1) i insert my previous sim card to the Iphone, all the contact list in the sim card is gone. Do it mean i need to key in again all the contact list or is there any other ways?

2) i found that the phone is without MMS and video conference feature, is that true? seem not a perfect 3G phone...
Answer to #1 can easily be obtained from Apple.com itself, where the Quick Start Guide would point to. #2 was an obvious example on how uninformed you are, because "you get it as a gift", hence you dont have even the responsiblity of looking up the simplest things like this. Your ignorance and lack of responsibility of finding out the simplest things like these are apparent from these questions alone.

Your second thread already borders on piracy, asking for web links directing towards free songs and such. I posted my response in there, which is pretty much civil, but you realised what you have done and edited the first post yourself. Piracy and the act of piracy is not condoned in LYN, and even that you fail to look up, that is part and parcel of the rules and regulations that you have to abide with before you even sign up a username with! shakehead.gif

So, to other newbies, dont listen to this guy. We dont eat newbies for breakfast, we just eat them if they are people like this guy. In fact we welcome info-sharing no matter what status you are in the forum, new or old. The TS is only bitter than his shenanigans was exposed and is seeking textual revenge.

See? You dont even know how to LOCK your own goddamned thread!? If you have locked it, none of that 4-page spillage would have happened. Dont start here by asking HOW to though, then THAT would show how ignorant you are about the basics of this forum's facilities. And you are saying that we are being cruel to you? You brought this on yourself!
