QUOTE(RyoKenzaki @ Sep 2 2008, 11:57 PM) Next time be discreet when carrying scorpions, tarantula, snakes or any other exotic animals to a public area, please hide them in a bag or keep em out of sight. What you did could scare people and make them feel uncomfortable especially when you just ignore their reactions, giving them a bad impression about exotic pet keepers. If you want to let people see you exotic pets please at least talk to them let them know it's OK or share your experience to calm them down. |

local breeder and local breed are 2 different things
quality on local breeds are unquestionable, but as for local breeders... I'll just say the good ones are rare |

QUOTE(Jamien @ Sep 9 2008, 02:07 AM) Anyway, isn't it too soon for Timmy to molt? O, Sammy burrows all the time but not really Timmy. Sammy is also a little skinnier than Timmy since it eats less. Yes, it's going to die. |

QUOTE(junshern222 @ Sep 10 2008, 03:01 PM) since u all say that i did the wrong setup,i bought 2 packets of organic soil today... is it the black soil or the red one? i kept my tarantula in the black one before, seems to work quite OK until plants started growing.the soil contains rich humus compound, red burnt soil, coco peat, charcoal, and river sand.... is this okey?? i asked the ppl there and they told me this is the coco fibre soil.... Charcoal retains water, which helps maintain humidity |
