2day 1of my buyer scorpling molted too

Anw, 2day i went2 1U tat petshop
Saw deathstalker RM138, emperor around 4inch RM130+
Was sooooo tempted to buy it but im way too far for the lvl of keeping a deadly species

Timmy took food even a day before he started attempting to molt. Buy la, under your bed got so much space.

Nt going2 buy, im nt into the lvl yet
Jumping from AFS to DeathStalker are nt a wise decision...
Any1 interested can go and buy

to drazisader, personally i wont agree on handling scorpions for the fun of it, i only do it when reli necassary, its best i dont teach u also cause i dont want to be the cause when u get stung, if u reli wanna learn i can only tell u 1 thing search google, hehe

I think ryo means the shop on the lower floor of Jusco Home Center. They sell tarantulas and scorpions there too. I haven't gone there in quite a while but they used to have many beautiful tarantulas and sold adult AFS quite cheaply.

Same techniques apply kah? You may need to modify on your praying technique once it tags you. As soon as the pain begins, it's a going to be a downhill roller coaster ride filled with sharp pain and fear for dear life, which feels like it's never going to end. I'm not going to even start on it's LD50 rating or even it's neurotoxic revelations, that part is on google. Some of the things that can happen once a person gets unlucky enough to get stung include: acute pain around sting site(try thinking of 35pieces of 3inch needles throbbing in and out of your thumb, an LQ sting may feel worse), weakening of the body and elevated temperature(fever), involuntary muscular contraction(convulsions), paralysis, and at times coma or death. And the icing on the cake will be knowing that there is no antivenin available locally for LQs - they aren't supposed to be here in the first place. The average doctor will not be able to help much other than giving a general treatment for most toxic stings, which will in most cases help to a certain extent. It's not such a cool pet to keep after all eh? Never compromise safety for anything else.

Research alone is not enough. Not all LQs act and behave the way they are portrayed in books and documentaries. Take smaller steps before beginning to run.

I can tell by your numerous posts on it, that you're really hoping for it to be gravid huh? Where did you buy this one from? What is the length now? Are you still feeding it?

i bought it from a pet shop in seremban[which they put all the scorpion they have in a same tank].the length is around 6-8 cm[not include the pincher and tail,just the body..] ....she refused to eat since i bought it....

im very curious about it's situation....hope can know the answer by tonight..so try to help me ya.....

Sometime they wont eat for 1 week.

its already two weeks it been refuse to eat..anw,i will throw one cricket and try to feed it every three days,if it dont eat,i throw the cricket to the other two scorpions which are in the same tank..
also,i found ways to maintain the crickets from dying..haha..hope it works..

rafiqos: i actually googled it already....and also wondering why such a dangerous species is available to get here... but seem cant stop pet lovers for wanting it...

actually what i mean is the same way u care for a pet...housing...feeding...enviroment ...and damn lots precaution for it.... cause neva will know how to take care my AFS until i get some.. sorry show neglect of carefullness and respect towards this species..anyway cool that u stated how dangerous they are.
