1st instar? As i knw 1st instar's body is kinda sticky, as i handle 1 b4 when it fall down from mom back...
I think thats the reason urs stick on the tank though...

For Heterometrus and Pandinus sp, white telson mean still nt yet reach adult while dark color is adult

Im nt sure if its the same but as i knw young instar tend2 be more dangerous as they do not knw hw2 control the amount of venom to inject into the prey yet

They are aiming for water
Basically if ur substrate are wet those mites will only be on ur substrate
But if its insufficient for them they will start aiming a layer of water under ur scorp exoskeleton
Correct me if im wrong
