hummm... since yesterday my scorpy has not been eating at all, the worm it bite open a small hole then leave it aside.. this condition lasted 2 weeks.. anything wrong with it? ><

question? how do we know if our scorpling is fat...  the segment of my scorpion are separate... leaving white parts there...so assume they are fat and able to sustain without food long time.

Same techniques apply kah? You may need to modify on your praying technique once it tags you. As soon as the pain begins, it's a going to be a downhill roller coaster ride filled with sharp pain and fear for dear life, which feels like it's never going to end. I'm not going to even start on it's LD50 rating or even it's neurotoxic revelations, that part is on google. Some of the things that can happen once a person gets unlucky enough to get stung include: acute pain around sting site(try thinking of 35pieces of 3inch needles throbbing in and out of your thumb, an LQ sting may feel worse), weakening of the body and elevated temperature(fever), involuntary muscular contraction(convulsions), paralysis, and at times coma or death. And the icing on the cake will be knowing that there is no antivenin available locally for LQs - they aren't supposed to be here in the first place. The average doctor will not be able to help much other than giving a general treatment for most toxic stings, which will in most cases help to a certain extent. It's not such a cool pet to keep after all eh? Never compromise safety for anything else.

Research alone is not enough. Not all LQs act and behave the way they are portrayed in books and documentaries. Take smaller steps before beginning to run.

It's fine la junshern. They can last a long time with very little water and food. In the wild they don't catch food every few days. May have to go a week without food. in captivity they have constant food supply.

My clip didn't come out of his hiding place much also. But he's always ready to catch something to eat. Mealies are full of juice right? So probably it's not dying of thirst.
