QUOTE(junshern222 @ Sep 7 2008, 08:16 PM) That is not a suitable environment junshern222.If that is AFS that u own, probably u will need soil that can absorb water well and can hold the moisture U can either use Coco Fiber (recommended) or Peat Moss (can mix a lil bit wif coco fiber if u wan). Using random soil will make your scorps stress out due to their original habitat. Pot as shelther is good, but the way u set the pot won't make a good hide for your scorp.. Set the pot like a cave ( dark n deep) so that your scorp will be more happy to burrow or rest there during day. The dinosaur there is quite good...keep up the good work. Let your scorp fight wif that toy....GRAWLLLL!!! Eh, Ryo...u fed your scorpling wif crickets? Crickets so big how to feed them? or u just feed them drumstix? i just bough 1 buck of crickets...hahaa, nw they chirping happily in the enclosure.. I let them eat oatmeal..as your mealworm did...and your mealworms all growing fatter and fatter. This post has been edited by hyakushikki: Sep 7 2008, 09:25 PM |

Make sure your mealworms are head-crushed 1st b4 throwing them to your scopling...
And if they dn wanna eat, perhaps u could try to reduce it size by cut the mealworms into 2 pieces, since sometimes scorpling won't eat sth bigger then their body size.. But both my scorpling which i got from Ryo also seems to enjoy eating large crush-head mealworms |

@junshern222 wahh~~ u really go buy n use the fiber of coconut arr? u need to buy coco fiber soil laa...nt the fiber onli.
@ryo ryo!! hows your roaches? colony has been settled? if u can breed it successful, i plan to buy some from u also to breed. Anyway, your're all true. Crickets are dumb. Everyday die for no reason. I also confuse. Bagi makan = die, Bagi minum = die. Daily casualties is around 3-4 crickets...Nw i realize how troublesome it is. |

@anderyna. For me, their chirping is soothing. Sleep while hearing they chirping gimme a creep sometimes. It seems like they are ready to burst out of the container and attack me while I'm sleep.
@junshern222 you must change it...U change setup = onli stress, U didnt change setup = stroke. Which one u choose? This post has been edited by hyakushikki: Sep 9 2008, 08:27 PM |

Ryo, you are right... using the guppy tank makes the substrate dry fast.
Too many ventilation on the lid. I sampai use cardbox on the top of the lid. Using container from Giant and solder it with 6 hole can keep it's humidity very well i c. |
