You're mixing it up guys.

Its L. australasiae(not L.australis..) australis is almost exclusive to the Androctonus genera. The A. Australis is probably the second most potent scorpion in the world and with it's intensed and powerful cauda makes for a forbidding scorpion. Just be careful with species-naming lah. wink.gif

On the other hand, here's something on L.australis. Link

Try looking up on these - P. mossambicensis, P. capensis, P. pallidus. The first two bears much resemblance to the one in the picture. P.granulatus is an unlikely guess judging from the colour tone and built of its body. There's a bunch of other 'yellow' parabuthus too, many of them may not have even made it into the hobby yet, or end up being misidentified by traders for something else(this happens all the time with bugs).

Smartest move right now would be to prove that the scorpion you got there is not an Australis. Then comes the other more subtle physical characteristics of a spitter. Does your's make any sound, Ryo?

And yea, be safe.

And u so late tell me i din bring it here la
I also suspected it is poo or mud at 1st glance bt further inspection makes me think otherwise
Thought of using damp thing2 try wipe it off but it wil mean im suicide-ing or taking the risk of it getting real mycosis
Perhaps shld juz wait for it to molt
