from seremban u can take a nice 20 minute drive (or less if traffic is smooth) and head on over to ulu bendol falls.
its a nice place with waterfalls. have a nice relaxing time there and eat something and soak your tired feet.

ulu bendol is a place where scouts gather for their jamboree sessions. first waterfall is like 2 minutes by foot from the carpark lot.

that is correct as well.

PD is nearer to seremban of course. there are new roads to pd anyway so it wont take long. averagely the same time as going to ulu bendol.

I am looking for a hotel to overnight in Seremban. Is there a good hotel in the city.
good to me means Clean and No noise pollution or morning calls.

beef noodles >>>> kemayan square theres 1 ... just after the tol exit to seremban >> at 2nd traffic light turn right as you will be entering a commercial shoplots ....oneway street take the last lorong as u will passby seafood ....go straight keep ur eyes open tongue.gif green color signboard.
Western food >> Kensington or spanish at Era Square (google)

Hotel = depends on ur budget .... <100 Angsana Inn or Seremban Inn clean n tidy (middle of town)
> 200 we have Allson Klana Or Royal Bintang ... theres enough signboard around town .... If u can see A&W middle of the town than everything is nearby .

To Pd ... Use highway RM3.60 .... if u r from KL >> dont exit at seremban tol .... go futher another few minutes drive you will see Port Dickson exit on ur left .... read the signs ...

adios

I think there are still many food to look for in Seremban but taste is very subjective.
Beef Noodles at Pasar Besar, Hakka Mee at Pasar Besar, Wan Tan Mee in Oakland, Hong Kong Mee House, Pizza Italia etc etc....

As for tourists attractions......
Not much to see in Seremban though but not hustle bustle like KL, Pg and JB..

Seremban grilled crab only for singaporean haha....
try the one beside the famous grilled crab restaurant, is a tall building(1st floor is tuition center), the (sea)food there not bad and price is more reasonable.

I'm currently studying in Seremban. So, I know quite a few things there. For hotels, there's plenty of it. You can try Hotel Seri Malaysia, Royal Bintang and Allson Klana. About the price, I'm not sure but the Hotel Seri Malaysia one is sure under RM 250.

There are few of recreation park around Seremban and they are well-maintained. The view is nice and people go there everyday for jog, exercise, etc. For shopping, there are Seremban Parade (bowling, karaoke) and Terminal One (cinema). But both are quite unlikable. For a decent one, just go to Seremban 2, which is about 15 minutes drive from Seremban for Jusco.

biggrin.gif Reading the threads, I think booking room in PD is better, afterall it is only less than 30 minutes drive. After business can just drive back to PD and enjoy the beach and I think it is more interesting than Seremban. Or just drive down from KL and more places to hang out than Seremban. There are people working in KL and take train back to Seremban DAILY!! So, it is not that far. Why get stuck in Seremban. hmm.gif

I have met buyers from Seremban who drive all the way just to buy a RM200 second hand camera. biggrin.gif

What you can do in Seremban is for food hunting.

Morning (7-11AM)
GMap - 2.730603,101.936719
You can visit to Pasar besar at town center, go to second floor, there are a lot of nice food over there.
牛腩粉 - 新儒记
鱿鱼米粉 - There are 2 shops selling it, both nice too.
云吞面 - 1) 12 o'clock from 新儒记, 2) 8 o'clock from 滔记 hakka mee
客家面 - 滔记 Only one shop selling it, find the shop with a lot people standing waiting for tabao.

Lunch (from 12PM - until finish)
(not sure Sunday open or not)
GMap - 2.728695,101.936955
Famous 潮州粥, must try their 咸菜 thumbup.gif

Lunch (from 12PM - until finish)
GMap - 2.729124,101.939015
expensive Chicken rice a.k.a we called in 黄金鸡饭

Dessert - Cendol + Rojak
Haji Shariff Cendol
GMap - 2.726635, 101.940081

Seremban Siew Pao
There are lots of brand currently in Seremban, one of my favarite is 华师傅芙蓉烧包
GMap - 2.728347,101.938785 <-- don't know this branch still open or not.
GMap - 2.697595,101.936945 <-- i always buy it from this branch smile.gif

Dinner.... no recommendation, the so called 芙蓉烧螃蟹 is not famous within the local people nod.gif
