"Alot of people were sharing their PSN accounts with others so they could download games or even trade games. Yes, this is illegal and wrong but it still happened until now.

A friend of ps3clan.nl logged into his PSN account only to find that he couldn’t play the games he downloaded of someone elses PSN account. When this user tries to launch a game a message appears stating the copyright stuff. Furthermore, according to this article, it sounds like the person that has shared the game is also having the same trouble.

All we can say is be very wary of this and stop sharing PSN games with others because this could happen to you if it hasn’t already done so.

It is clear … SONY has, after downloading to a maximum of 5 consoles apparently found something on the ‘illegal’ downloading PSN games against them."

they have found a way (the Sony employee that I spoke was’ t already have MAC addresses, etc.) to find out whether it is actually YOU PSN account / game, and not those of someone else.

Sony from day one encouraged downloading a PSN game and sharing it with 4 other PS3s.

how would they know its you or not? i mean they made it so that it could be shared on seperate machines, soo like. yeah. strange. i guess there is always a way. and if there is always a way then there is always a loophole. hopefully heheheh.

for SG the billing address same as cc address the diff is postcode, im using SG postcode

for HK = used HK address

my maybank VISA's been blocked

i replace my POSTCODE to a SGP/HK one but still kenot work. dunno y some CC can work but some can't!?

status report:

before Jan 23: Maybank Visa CC worked on SGP/HK Store (any fake address will do)

after Jan 23: many ppl reported blocked CC (including mine)

Feb 10: tried again, and it is back to WORKING! (any fake address will do)

Does citibank CC work with US account ?

woo hoo. great news acougan. will be topping up my acc with extra this time. just in case. hahahahhaha. also gonna try buy those three games. will open up sharing if it works.
