5kg? Nahh.. probably half of it tongue.gif I'll check for you if new stocks have arrived.. Well lets hope I do not have any other distractions!
BTW, have you gave up on your B1 buffer pre-amp?

Maybe will integrate the B1 and opamp to be an active preamp, well just some wild idea.

Yes. I think next week onwards would be excellent.

mr jazz: I have great interests in this T-amp.. been reading this thread from 1st posting. Your postings today are kinda weird. First you said "there were no mention of any TT Session since few of you had the last one at another member’s place.. (and) probably they had 'enough'...". This cannot be true as you yourself have said it.. "Yes. I think next week onwards would be excellent (for another TT session)"... You then declared this thread at times almost 'died' and you took the liberty to go off topic and shoot your mouth off on the GC amp project. ?? shocking.gif

Guys,
For those who are seeking better-quality volume pots than JP's Alpha for their T-amps, please be informed that LittleGhost is organising a bulk order from hohodiy website. The ALPs VR50K Blue velvet costs between RM27 - RM33.75 or NT$225 and ALPS RK09 at RM6.50 - RM8.00 or NT$54 each. (NT$1 = RM0.12 / RM0.15)

You must remember to deposit cash or utilise Maybank2u.com to transfer funds into the bank account specified. Please pay the estimated costs you are ordering without the shipping & handling charges no later than midnight today.

Gabanyayaya,
So have you decided to get a T-amp for yourself yet? tongue.gif

If you want to order some capacitors and other parts, remember to join in the bulk order by LittleGhost, details in my posting above.

Yes, the boss is B.K.Tan; now only the AV Exchange's signboard is still up there but the shop has already moved to Summit.

Y.C.,
I don't think gabanyayaya will be taking that path soon..
He got a discrete amp coming his way.. and then maybe a GainClone next.. wink.gif

BTW, I have NOT installed the Pana caps(and have not paid for it tongue.gif ).
Was busy with my pre-amp buffer, I may install in on my second board though.. just to see if the Pana caps have a 'major' impact on the overall sound.. biggrin.gif Curious.. just curious wink.gif

Jazzy,
Gabanyayaya must have favoured the discrete amp over our T-amp. sad.gif After meeting him in person during our 1st T-amp session, Lai and I thought he is truly a music lover. biggrin.gif

After trying out your Pana caps, do let us know whether they do have any impact on the sound of T-amp.

On our next T-amp t/t session, I feel it is too short a notice to hold it this weekend. Let us see response for it at next weekend onwards. On my end here, I have been in close contact with Cyl1000 and he is eager to attend one. On your side, I read that wui223 is also keen to attend another. As for me, I am rather neutral and will present myself should there be a next session.

On our T-amps, the 'pop' or 'thud' sound that some of us are experiencing with few of our boards during switching on/off will gradually be reduced to almost inaudible level once they are fully run-in. My 2nd T-amp used to have this 'thud' sound but tonight I noticed that it is almost gone after been subjected to more than 10 hours of playing music continuously everyday for the past 1 week.
