Well say bro jazzy, i got the same feeling like you, tho i am not into real hifi world
I need to mod the crossover of my floor standing(FS) speakers to suit this Tripath amp and my ear....to get the most out of this amp.

I never know that my FS speakers can 'sings' this well....even after 8 yrs long!!!

let's see what the quotations will be like.
From a meagre 6 watts jump into a 'light speed' of 200-300 watts, 'few' hundred bucks is STILL worth it!
Don't you think so? NOT that you're gonna play at FULL power, but the extra headroom does helps in the dynamics. Then again, provided the fidelity is as good as the Tripath.. which is going to be our, well, my benchmark now.
WE'll never know until we sampled one, right?
