Yes, it increase the sms tone length

Just sold it off. Don't like it because it's somehow sluggish, and it restarts every once and then (like any other SE phones)

i had the black screen prob with my w980.
and i cant turn on my phone.
how can a2uploader detect my phone?

after i upload using a2uploader.
still the same.

so the solution is re format?rm 30 each time...hard for me..got any other solution?

REformat can be done using SEUS

i'm a w980i user; its 1 yr old...recently i found tht my phone switch by it self automatically....then i had to switch on back....it happens several times...i call the shop where i bought the phone from..he said might be firmware issue...or could be battery....i need help on this since the warranty it over...should i try to download latest software update from SE site or give to phone shop...if can i wanna do by myself instead of paying...my latest firmware is: 1205-1464 R3DA028080908.

i did try to search latest firmware by using via phone it stated i have the latest software.

need advises.....

use a2uploader to update to the latest firmware.. google it for the latest firmware and download...

Once again, I would recommend you to try out SEUS.
Unless this doesn't work should you try using the a2uploader manual method.

i wanna ask about this phone. the speaker is loud and sharp or not?

Not to say China phone loud but loud enough.
Sharp its not like the T700 where its so sharp it sounds like the music playing comes from a tin can.

my phone got same prob since buy...the problem is..it turn off can cant be ON again..i already try the method SEUS+hold c button+plug the usb cable..but the only thing happen is..the light at the keypad and red light at the top only on...screen blank...i already hold the c button about half an hour...nothing happen...i also try a2uploader...same result..




so any other method?

I sent mine to shop when I encountered the exact same problem as you. Too lazy to figure out how to fix it. And came back ok so far ***touch wood.

Anyone still use this phone? Im gonna make a reflash/CDA change guide for people who experience faulty firmware. And if I got time, maybe incorporate camdriver mod + acoustics
