Normally RM player can play RMVB files from HDD or thumb drive. It can also play MP3, DIVX, AVI and MPEG files.

You mean Hi-Def as in 1280X720 for AVI and MPEG or for R Real media only. Just bought a different but can only accept 720X576 except Real Media, and do not have VGA! Damn... Oh the hard disk can install inside the player or must be external?

But most of the them don't support RMVB. Been looking for this for long time. Just bought one call DMP100, make in China.

Too busy working and watching japanese tv series....

Almost 90% of the RMVB HDD player on the market used AML7228 (http://www.amlogic.com/) chipset. So the playback function is the same.....the different are on connectivity and firmware.

The price range (local) is around RM250 to RM399 in Malaysia.
Price range in China is around RM150 to RM250.

SmartiTV is OEM from RMBOX......but SmartiTV cost RM320 which is too expensive and they give small remote control. I won't recommend unless you want 1 year warranty and a 'small' remote control.

Another one is the L6 HDMI.....again forget about it....the so call HDMI it just a YPbPr to HDMI conversion only.....

It you want to get it locally, please visit
http://list.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/List.as...MyAuctionType=1

I will go for Thomson L6 (with big remote control) if i want to purchase locally.........

will write a review of my RMHDD soon...
