Installer repos won't work on Cydia. Vise versa. And, do stay away from using Installer 4 as many has face problems with it including restoring their phones due to it's bugginess.. but david u stated those repos under cydia in 1st post |

QUOTE(davidgary73 @ Nov 25 2008, 01:19 AM) Boss, those repos on first post is for Fw 2.0.x - Fw 2.2. Not for Fw 1.0.4 - 1.1.4. No wonder you get those errors mate. Hahaha.. im using Fw 2.1...Most or some have upgraded to the latest firmware 2.2. Do search/read up on how to upgrade your firmware. dat 1.0.4 not fw, i mean the community sources in Installer bro how to upgrade community sources to 3.7? |

QuickPwn will now automatically put your iPhone into recovery mode. Once its in recovery mode you will be prompted to: Hold the Home button for 5 seconds, Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds, then release the Power button and continuing holding the Home button until your iPhone is in DFU mode.
wat is a DFU mode?? This post has been edited by afcmh: Nov 29 2008, 01:49 AM |

QUOTE(Maverick Wil @ Nov 29 2008, 03:57 AM) @afcmh dis is my 1st tyme to do FW update and JBDFU = Device Firmware Update. In plain English, it means that your iPhone will enter a sort of 'safe mode' for a firmware update process. is there any advice for me wat i shouldn't do while doing this process? thx This post has been edited by afcmh: Nov 30 2008, 10:21 PM |
