After I install SBsettings, my iphone got stuck on the Apple logo after reboot. Now each time I press the wakeup/sleep button, I just saw the Apple logo only and then disappear. It looks like got bricked. Anybody encountered this problem?
I had to perform restore. Anybody face this problem and managed to get SBsettings to run?

Thanks for the advise. Can't do the normal way. I had to resort to DFU/Recovery mode. Will have to jb it again. I wonder how after installing sbsettings can cause this problem... Added on November 12, 2009, 2:18 pmNeed to check with you experts. Since I can't get the SBSettings to run on the iPhone (firmware v3.1.2), is there any other way I can turn off or on SSH manually, perhaps via terminal? Tried Toggle SSH but it's a useless app as the enable/disable button don't work at all. I can't get SBSettings to run as it will crash the iPhone (Apple logo appeared only upon bootup). For some strange reason, I could not use WinSCP to ssh into the phone after 2nd time jb but using iPhoneBrowser v1.93 works. Previously, the v1.91 will keep crashing upon launching on Vista. Appreciate any help provide. Thank you in advance. This post has been edited by Euthenics: Nov 12 2009, 02:18 PM

I'm thinking whether I should retry to reinstall SBSettings since the first time it crash. It's tedious process to go through the whole thing again. Maybe there is compatibility problem once jb using BlackRa1n. I guess I'll try to install SBSettings this time with Rock instead of Cydia and see how it goes.
I had no problem to SSH using WinSCP on Vista the first time but after jb the second time, for some reason I can't do it anymore.
Another thing I noted is that when using Cydia, I got this 'This devise had a pending TSS request'. Can I know what is the implication of this?
Thank you in advance.

Ok, I manage to SSH into it. Turns out I had to install openssh package into the iPhone in order to be able to run it. Not sure why the first time, I did not had to perform this. I also manage to install SBSettings using Rock instead of Cydia. This time it works and no crash.
So only remaining issue I need to ask is when I open Cydia, the message is still there 'This devise had a pending TSS request'. What are the implication for this? Appreciate if anyone can advise on this?
The last time, I did remember Cydia prompt me something like 'make my life easier' but after jb the second time, I did not see that message.
