guys, need help here...
noob in jailbreaking iphone...

after i jailbroken my iphone 3G, i open cydia and installed categories...
then i created a folder called Games using categories and moved all my games inside the folder...
then after i restart my iphone i found out that the Games folder is empty and so does all my games that have been moved inside it...

i tried to uninstalled categories using cydelete and then resync my iphone but my games still no where to be found but my iphone's apps counter shows that all my games are inside my iphone...

what's the reason for this error? can anyone help me?

You can try reset your phone in Settings > Reset > Reset All Settings .

Sifus, need a lil assistant here. I just created 10 blank icons with iBlank and I don't know how to delete those icons. I did press the icon until it shake and delete it but my iPod Touch crashed right away. I know this is an iPhone thread but this thread is much more active here. So anyone know how to solve this?

i'm so sorry for asking such noob question, but what is the purpose for creating blank icons?
i downloaded a theme and there's an app to create blank icon in my iphone.... dunno what to do with it...

(for example), if you want your apps arrangement to look like this.

found that sms delivery report hack...
its called iPhoneDelivery...works perfectly fine...

just hv 2 add this http://iphonedelivery.advinux.com/cydia/ repo
and install iPhoneDelivery

Then go to Setting > Messages > youll fine ( Delivery report)

can i ask do we have to pay for the upgrade. Everytime i launch cydia, the upgrade essential thingy will pop up...the seller asked me not to upgrade it, just click ignore just in case it will charge you money. is it so?

Don't worry, just upgrade the essential. It won't charge you. Cydia is like Appt Store for non-Apple approved apps for the jailbroken iPhone.

Those apps in Cydia that would be charged is located in the "Cydia Store: Products".

For free applications, just tap on Sections or Search and type the type of app you need. Those in Blue are for sale and you need to purchase it. Other than that, the rest are free.

It actually depends on what file format you downloaded. I normally used it to download images or pdf files. It works great for me and i can open the files.
