sucessfully JB my maxis 3GS, but Cydia somehow crashed at nite....with message-error datebase....

Now, i am stuck with my new iphone 3GS without Cydia...without SSH to rectify the faulty cydia...

tried searching online, and found that i can edit/sync cydia vide a software called CYDER, tried...but not working or i dont know how to use it

So, now, i hv only 3 winterboard themes, Mxtube for my JB phone...

All i can do is wait....for the devteam to solve out the restoring/downgrading of 3GS, then only i can re-JB

that's fate after more than 1 month waiting to JB 3gs, thats what i got now ...

wondering if any sifu know:-

1. other then the boss pref/SSH install vide cydia, any other way i can install SSH for my iphone without Cydia/installer/Icy? (i myself doubt there is any, it is my stupidity not to install SSH as soon as i JB the device )

2. any app in apple app store similar to SSH?

I can use any telco with it, but i cant found "Cydia" inside my iphone..
Is that mean my iphone was unlocked, but havent jailbreak yet?

if 3g, u can jb using mac, for windows, we r still waiiting...
3gs, do not do anyting to ur phone if u ever want 2 jb...

It should be officially unlocked or another possibility is someone installed a turbosim. You can check which country the phone is from to confirm it's status.

Any of you guys, notice that if you mess around using SBSettings to turn off 3g/edge and use fakeapn on and off etc, the phone after a while will suddenly go to "No Service" mode?

I'm not sure if this is the case, but that is kinda what I noticed. I mean for example, my phone when on standby keeps the signal thing perfectly well throughout the night etc.. but today when I played around with the SBSettings to quickly turn off edge/3gs/ and on fakeApn, (and then turning on everything again), I noticed that the phone goes out of service after a while.(this happened twice, same circumstances)

It not like a big issue as turning on and off the phone again, solves the problem but just wondering if this could be the case and due to an instability when using SBsettings to control the network stuff.

in my case, using SBSettings to enable/disable 3G/EDGE will cause the signal bars to decrease and resumes to normal in less than a minute. however, there was no 'NO SERVICE' displayed.

Hmm ok, but i do mess around with it a lot lol sometimes just on and off to check on small website to make sure it goes to wifi.. i'll try to go for a day without fiddling with it to see if that happens again
