Modern version is RM39.90 each..if the classics were at this price, I would have no hesitation to buy all 4 Turtles tongue.gif

Nice buy Keypad!
I bought the classic versions at first sight... I'll put my pic up here too lol

I admit, the turtles look better without painted eyes... but that's how they looked like in the cartoon.
Though... word of caution when buying these: it's gonna be tough finding ones with good QC, esp the eyes...

Lolz.... Indeed... I spent like 30 minutes going through the lot... Some have rather distorted belt buckles (where the initials is)... And some of them have rather crossed eyes.. Though most have good sets of eyes..

I waited like 20 years to have my own TMNT... Bought the Neca version sometime back but it didn't come close to the Playmate Classics...

RM320 well spent! I am a happy man..... biggrin.gif

Totally agree!

If you're a fan of TMNT from the 1980s, and have RM320 to spare, the Classic Collection versions are a must buy.
Cartoon accuracy + decent size + super articulation = winner!

Yup, wanna wait a bit, who knows got discount later on..10% also jadilah tongue.gif since the classics r double the price of the modern line, I think parents will opt for the modern line for their kids..furthermore, kids nowadays never seen the classics before..which means we adult collectors will have plenty of stock to choose from biggrin.gif

On a side note, it feels so old liao to talk about 'kids nowadays'..heck, I think we collector's of TMNT are kids at heart..LOL! biggrin.gif

Now that I have them I have another dilemma.... I really want to take them out of the box and pose them about.... However there's another part of me not willing to unbox them coz I saw how much the original issue values after 20 years under mint, boxed condition....

Will this edition be valueable one day? I bet they'll reissue the classics again in future..... icon_question.gif

Simple solution bro..just buy another set! tongue.gif unbox 1 set, then keep another biggrin.gif

Ok, jokes aside, I think in 20 years time it will NOT be worth that much..it's now fetching a high price coz the current adults went thru the TMNT craze 20 years ago..now with purchasing power, we tend to collect them based on nostalgia...but the kids today dun hav the chance to watch the classic TMNT, they would not be able to relate when they're adults later..makes sense, no? blush.gif
