How much actually it takes to fill up viva fuel tank?
According to the brochure it is 36L.

But when I took my car from sale room, tha fuel indicator show only one bar left and the indicator is blinking. So I went to fill up, it only took 26L at the pump to stop automatically; at the fuel indicator also showed full (8 bars?).

Today, after 355km (3 bars left), I went to the pump again and this time only 20.2L to top up.

Does my viva has a smaller tank?

Guys,

About to service my viva for 1st 1000km; thinking of changing the engine oil to semi-synthetics (something like 5W-50 grade). Anyone use this grade of eninge oil in their viva? feel any improvement? or just a waste of money?

thanks.

Today just went to do my 1st service for my viva. And it cost RM190.95

Not sure about the service center you guy go to, the one I went (Tmn Maluri, Kepong, KL) power sale me also:

Hood accoustics insulator --- RM83
Battery Terminal Protector --- RM4

plus the usual oil, gasket, transmission oil etc for RM102

The hood accoustics insulator & battery terminal are a bit of waaste of money. So if you go to service your car, you should say no to these extra.

hope this helps.

is there a button in viva to turn off the alarm?
My dad Proton Saga BLM has one big button just below center aircon vent that can turn off the alarm. Kind of handy for auto thieve...

Anyway I was thinking more of a situation where my alarm remote battery has run dry, and I can only open the car with car key, alarm go off then what should i do to turn off the alarm?

How's your experience with RON92? Lack of power when compared with RON97?
Might give RON92 a try when my current tank is finish.

Is our viva original radio antenna a bit weak? When I drive along MRR2 around Melawati, Setapak, the radio signal tends to get weak.

Any cheap and simple way to improve radio reception?

Guys,

What is the stock tyres you guys get? Mine are Continentals. Now after around 5000km, the side wall of my tyres look like a bit "age", dont know how to describe it. will try to post pictures.

Just would like to know, are the tyres under warranty?
