If u have laptop running Win XP.
Try and connect n see is there any diff?

Do u plug it at USB 1.1?
If yes,then u need plug it at USB2.0

the speed is depending on ur wireless router/access point settings.

if it is set to be wireless B only, it will run at 11mbps.

if its wireless G, 54mbps.

By default, there is no way vista will limit ur connectivity to a certain speed.

so check it out.

i have other notebook and pc(winxp) is runing on same router...both of them is running at 54mbps..

i wonder y this vista only running at 11mbps sad.gif sad.gif

that's a odd vista glitch(i guess) i have no problem with my router wrt54g or planex wifi router.

try checking ur usb whether it is running in 1.1 or 2.0:

Shouldn't use USB port for USB Wireless LAN Stick due to performance/power limit and do update the drivers for the USB Wireless LAN Stick.

 

Change to:
