I wonder what does amplifier do, it is very expensive to get 1, does brand and price matter for amp? And with amp, we can tune the sound?

amplifier (turn up/tune up) as the name suggest, amplifies signals. And to do so is not easy. Cheap amplifier can amplify as well, but with a lot of noise, maybe due to low quality conductor used.
The more expensive the amplifier, the better the material used, thus the less noise produced after amplifying. If your speaker don't have an amplifier, you can't tune the volume up and down, and for sure, the sound is so small you can't hear a thing. |

hahahahahahha amplifier is simply to amplify eletrical signals
in the case of sound, its to amplify sound signals lor difference of good and cheap is obviously on the quality built just like 17" tyre got Sime tyre and highends like Conti Sports... still 17" wat....but quality one call hell...the other call heaven |

We need amplifier to boost out the speaker ability to play the music tone right and tight!
Cheap amplifier : low wattage per channel and higher harmonic distortion. Means not clean watt output. Expensive amplifier : even low or high wattage per channel. You get very low harmonic distortion as much as 0.05% to 0.02%. Meaning you get very clean power output per watt. For instant, why those ICE using SPL or even SQL always aim for expensive amplifier, is to cater their requirement and longer lasting amplifier. |

SPL amps dont think its that expensive...probably price hiked by local players...
SQ amps....ah that one will cost a bomb and amplifier do not boost speaker ability... its purpose is to amplify signals to the speaker if ur HU can produce 100watts per channel u don't need an additional amp oso |

if HU can fit 100watts x 4.....i think they have a new standard 8din HU?
hahahahahaha reality it cannot be done becoz of the size of the amps theory wise it can be done. |
