Anyway guys, when i was at the scene, after looking at the box, it was really tempting to sumbat like what you guys said. But I just couldn't... somehow it's just wrong. Cos me, like other fellow collectors, went thru so much searching to find what we're looking for, and in many times, never finding what we want, due to this sort of ppl, stealing cars, taking all units of a particular model, switching car contents, curi TH, etc. And doing the same, we'll drop ourselves to their level. Which is unethical sad.gif

Things like these made me puasa sebulan HW...

Black one u can find it in some Promo Pack... Just visit a store and found out that those unethical collectors rips off those seal and took each of the DC Hotwheels and replace with basic cars... that is probably because the two evo x are from different manufacturers. the picture of his collection is a mix of hotwheels and tomica cars. the evo x on the left is from hw and the one on the right is a tomy. hence the interior difference smile.gif

@Sinclair and mchw08: I know this forum through Toycarsmy. The price of Hot Wheels in Vietnam is little lower than Malaysia but the models is not many like Malaysia. When I know Toycarsmy, I did exchange with him twice for more Hot Wheels and Tomica also. For sure will show more about my collection. tongue.gif

last month came the new wave so haul a lot.. this month didnt haul much as there is no new wave hit this month yet but have been dealing with some of u guys in here.. so, so far have spent rm300+..

It's been awesome discussing with you guys but i guess it's time for shadoxicated return to forum hibernation mode. smile.gif

To all my players here, i hope my little words of motivation here and there (especially on the topic of 'hunting') and some personal opinion of mine greatly helps and inspires you guys. I truly admire how some new collectors who assume they'll never score t-hunt ever with few tips in mind gave their shot and hustled not just hunt but the REAL treasure hunt, T-Hunt$ now that's really awesome! But in the end, Supers are something really cool to hold and makes ya proud but.. the happiness is the hobby itself, and T-Hunt$ count don't really reflects one's status cause ANY collection you own matters wink.gif maybe you guys have perception that just because shadoxicated seems to be all about T-Hunt, he is, but that's not the case really.. it's just that i take my time sharing with you guys one by one of car themes i'm into and no, having certain hw grails don't really put me on 'high-end' players.. t-hunts for example the true high end hustlers don't really need to hunt all out to get a piece at retail but rather pay like usd250 for a specially packaged complete set of year hunts offered by HWC. T-Hunts related post that i frequently address is just to bring more awareness as some could be over confident and some could have very little faith, so one could end up super depressed when they learn the truth and another having nothing cause of so called 'untouchable' territories.

Also to avoid writing another even longer paragraph that i suppose to address over some 'misunderstandings', i just need to give a big hint that the prob isn't really my concern at the moment (but if anyone helps to sorts things out i'll be very thankful for that). As long as some take note what i originally meant, that will do, and leave it to what they want to believe. One of my main reasons of retreating (for now) though, is more regarding my personal difficulties. Prior to May, i as one of founders (along with mchw) of new toy forum brought a promise, to give major facelift of the forum and eventually bring over the hw troops just like TF players here did, where everyone would enjoy better experience of foruming bout toys, and freedom minus flaming and certain politics. With my own background being capable to deliver change to the forum, at the same time i was battling to get to enroll back to my college where i've left (another long story that i'll skip for now, a very sad and depressing one that i don't wish to spoil this thread's mood with it).. and it was unsuccessful. It hurts me so much that not only i silently retreated that forum but in real life that i'm putting myself in real hibernation mode away from EVERYTHING else, except toy collecting. The forum today is steadily rising and if i am to reintroduce myself i would be nobody by now, but then forum thingy isn't what that matters.. this month is august and this is my final battle for my studies, and by september it's either i'm back for college next intake, sit back and be excited to finish whatever i left, both personal and online task, or.. my life will forever be uncertain.

Just to remind don't mean this indefinite break the hunting streak will end. Shadox = 'T-Hunts'. Only that i need some time and space to plan out my next steps that would affect my future. Shadoxicated still will be lurking to get up to date on what's happening and if there's important pointers by you guys great hunters that could assist my own huntings, but i'll will reduce my posts drastically, back to like what i'm used to since the v1 of this thread. If there's anything you guys need from shadoxicated just pm me cause i'll still be around, or ask demonicle for my online contact. Maybe someday in near future once i'm back for good we can have special gath right in shadoxicated's (undercover's) hideout.. i'll be ready throw some serious poison live for y'all hehe.. until then, take care everyone and keep it up!

Manage to get the lotus esprit and zotic to complete my exotics collection. Now I got one set of a team of 4 exotics. Never felt happier in my life rclxms.gif

Anyway today at TRU just bought 3 promo pack HW 40 yrs.

Saw alot of black Ferrari FXX and Tooned Enzo. I manage to get 2 black Fxx and the tooned Enzo thumbup.gif

I've been looking for a black FXX for quite some time now...and all of a sudden I found 2 rclxms.gif

After searching the whole rack, can't find any TH in those designers pack. I wonder whether they have the TH in those promo pack.

Everybody say garage not worth it but I got two.

One for the 1st series and the other for the second series with the vroom vroom sound.

But at RM60 its a bit expensive, but when you put all your shell Ferrari cars in the specially made garage, the cars look pretty good drool.gif

i saw this 'thing' in an episode of 'Pimp My Ride' once.. it was used long2 ago by the German military just like US Army now use Humvee's.. soo, i would think of it as a mini Humvee.. tongue.gif

Not All TH$ is tempting, for me only some of model TH$ is tempting like 07TH$ Skyline and Enzo.
This year TH$ i prefer 300c, Mustang and Hot Bird, love the color and tattoo.

hello guys, today i wanna share what this forum has brought me. roughly this time last month, i started to collect hotwheels after seeing this forum. i realised that i can buy cars that i couldnt when i was a kid. one month ago or so, this was my hw collection:

I’ve been reading this thread since it was first posted by Mutt (all hail to the King). I’m also a collector but due to time and work constraints, I’m not able to contribute to the development of the hobby.

I’ve never compelled to write anything before but a friend whom has just started collecting HW complaint to me without realising that he was actually complaining. I’m the guy whom introduces him to this hobby. I even gave him some carded HWs as a starter kit.

Since then, he bought some carded HWs from some of the forumers. Some provided honest & good valuation before selling but some PURPOSELY neglect to mention the condition of the car. He was so frustrated recently when he received a carded HW car which is in bad shape. Not the car but the card. And this was not the first time for him. I’m not going to describe the condition of the card because I do not want to offend the person who sold the car to him. But you know who you are.

Usually when a fellow friend says he/she has a CARDED HW for sale, you would assume the card is in its best condition. Maybe with just a slight not so noticeable deficiency on the card. But you would have faith in the seller especially when he/she has so many STARS attached to their name.

I think that fellow forumer who wants to sell their HW must not neglect to mention the actual condition of the said cars for sale. A photo of the said carded car should be attached for viewing (most do but some don’t). Whether the card has rough edges, water marks, glue residues, price tags still attached (Parkson, JJ etc). Neglecting to mention these “deficiencies” could lead to frustration to the buyers. Yes, “Let the Buyer Beware” must be observed at all times but sometimes we are too polite to ask as we do not want to offend the seller by asking too many questions about the condition of the said car/s.

Be an honest seller. Don’t sell cars which are in bad shape without warning the person who wants to buy them. We’ve had a seller whom said the car is so much so much but come to the actual transaction, he/she hiked the price without prior notice.

For the sake of the hobby, be honest and I hope the moderator could give a comment/advise/word of wisdom/guidelines for future selling or trading.

I would also hope seller / trader inform the buyer of the card conditions or provide photo. so as wat to xpect. I made a mistake by not asking for actual photo of item. in the end am at the losing end. haiz...
