what i mean is install the linux yellow dog in ps3 from external harddisk instead of from DVD. because i dont want it don crash my lens.

Nope....only via DVD...and I've done several times already...neer crash my lense....use a good DVD R laa...it won't stress your lense...but a cap ayam one....different story laaa..

eh how come i always read things about "stressing ps3's lenses"? afraid of making it break down.. is it true?
if ps3's lens is easily spoiled, then you got the case similar like RROD. only not as bad as the RROD la.. |
