Here are some guidelines:

For editorial content in magazines or newspapers, the typical fee is RM0.30 - RM0.50 per word, depending on your experience and the nature of the article.

If it's highly technical writing, such as medical or engineering-related content, this can go up to RM1 per word.

For copywriting in brochures or websites, the typical fee is RM80 - RM150 per A4 page (font size 12, double spacing), depending on the agency you're working with, and your experience.

Some copywriters also charge based on man hours instead of per page. This would be from RM150 - RM300 per hour.

Single headlines are more difficult to place a figure on. I know one copywriter who was rewarded RM20,000 just for one tagline - but normally, unless you're an award-winning copywriter with
decades of experience, you won't want to charge any more than RM50 for a headline.

FYI, the rule of thumb in Malaysia is that copywriters are almost always richer than editorial writers.

Hope this helps.
